Remember the ADRP!

The Fourth Annual Conference of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) will be held at the Omni La Mansión del Rio in San Antonio, Texas, December 4-6, 2007 (Tuesday-Thursday). Pre-conference Institutes are slated for Monday, December 3.

ADRP is the only international organization encompassing donor relations and stewardship professionals across all sectors: education, health care, the arts, and other non-profit organizations. As such, the organization is committed to advancing the profession among all constituencies on an international level.

New at this year's Conference will be expanded breakout sessions. Additionally, two, plenary sessions are scheduled: a panel presentation featuring leading advancement professionals and a broader-based professional development session. The Association's Annual Meeting will also take place during the annual conference.

Early bird conference registration fees for 2007 are $325 for ADRP members and $475 for non-members. Pre-conference Institutes, which will run a full day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Monday, December 3, are $150 for ADRP members and $200 for non-members.

Accommodations at the Omni La Mansión del Rio are $169/night for a single or double; $338/night for a two bedroom suite. This special hotel rate applies for a period of three days pre- and post-conference. You are invited to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the beauty and history that is San Antonio.

The Board of Directors currently is solicting proposals for the upcoming 2007 International Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The conference dates are December 4-6. This year's conference is shaping up to be a very lively meeting of donor relations and stewardship professionals. The conference will feature two plenary sessions, including a keynote address entitled "Bringing More Creativity To Your Leadership Challenges." Back by popular demand, pre-conference institutes are scheduled Monday, December 3. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please review the "Guidelines" document first. It contains a list of opportunities for presenters, valuable points to consider, and pertinent topic requests. It also provides a meaningful way to "give back" to our profession and to assist peers and colleagues in moving their programs and their careers forward.
